What ages does the Rawḍah Madrasah cater for?
We offer a 4 year programme for students aged 7–11 years of age. Priority is given to children aged 7 years. In order for children to benefit from the curriculum we encourage parents to enrol students at 7 years of age so that they are able to complete the 4 year curriculum at the Rawḍah Madrasah. Children close to 7 years of age may also be considered depending on their ability.
How are classes organised?
Qur’ān classes are based on fluency. Arabic language and other classes are largely organised by age.
What will my children learn?

Will the classes be segregated?
Children will be taught in one classroom however the boys and girls will be seated separately.
What are the sizes of the classes?
The Madrasah will aim for classes to be no larger than 20-25 students per teacher.
How many days a week is the Madrasah?
The Madrasah runs Monday to Friday, 5 days a week and children will be expected to attend every day.
What will the timetable be for students?
Students take Qur’ān and Arabic classes 4 days a week. Fiqh, Sirah and Aqeedah lessons will take place once a week. Students will take part in a prophetic sports activity once a week.

I am not sure of my child’s ability and may have selected the wrong one on the registration form, what should I do?
The information from parents provides staff with an idea of the students ability. Prior to being allocated a class students will be assessed by a teacher to determine which class they will allocated.
